Watching the Parade
Today we went to the National Veterans Day Parade. It is the nation's oldest and largest Veterans Day celebration. It was so nice to see everyone from small cub scouts to elderly veterans celebrating our country's heroes. The father of one of our friend's came along. He is an Air Force veteran. It was really sweet watching him get teary eyed as veterans of all ages saluted each other with such respect. I'm so thankful for freedom and those that are willing to put their lives on the line to protect it.
